MEMBERS MATCH DAY GUIDE SEASON 2008 - SYDNEY

Welcome to Season 2008. The following information is for the benefit of all Sydney Swans members with game entry entitlements in 2008. We would encourage all of our members to read through this information (and maybe save it somewhere too) to ensure you get the most out of your membership in 2008.

GETTING INTO THE GROUND

Your membership card is your ticket for your match entitlements, be it 5 (Country Members only) or 11 matches.

On the back of your card are all the details you require to find your seating at the SCG and ANZ Stadum, including gates of entry, aisle or section and seat numbers (for those with reserved seats.

We encourage all members to check the back of their membership cards NOW to ensure all package and seating details are CORRECT. If you do have an issue please phone us on 02 9339 9130 Mon – Fri 9.30am -4.00pm.

To avoid unnecessary queuing and delays on match days we encourage you to phone us prior to match days to sort out any issues you may have.

If you forget your membership card on a match day, please visit Swans Service Office in the first instance.

TRANSPORT & PARKING

In 2008, Sydney Swans Membership cards and pre-purchased Ticketek tickets include travel on CityRail trains, the Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses and regular Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries services for the FOUR ‘Home and Away’ ANZ Stadium matches. Simply show your membership card or ticket and you pay nothing when boarding your bus, train or ferry!

This rail entitlement covers the CityRail network which is bounded by Newcastle, Dungog, Scone, Bathurst, Richmond, Goulburn and Bomaderry (Nowra).

The Sydney Swans encourage all members to travel by public transport to both the SCG and ANZ Stadium.

PARK’N’RIDE

A Park’n’Ride brochure was included in all ADULT game entry members fulfilment pack. Please note there is a Park’n’Ride facility available from King Cross Parking Station in conjunction with CLUB SWANS.

IMPORTANT: We have been advised that Randwick Park’n’Ride service will NOT be available for Rd 17 Swans v Adelaide match on 26 July due to World Youth Day.

SCG Locations

Swans Service Office 1 – Located at the forecourt of Sydney Football Stadium next to The Stadium Store merchandise shop

Swans Service Office 2 – Located between Gates A and B on Driver Avenue
 
ANZ Stadium Locations

Swans Service Office – Located on the Eastern side of the ground (train station side) at Gates A/B.

Please note: these offices are for membership specific enquiries and are open from gates open to the end of the first quarter. For general assistance please approach the Customer Service personnel at the respective venues.

SINGLE GAME MEMBERSHIP UPGRADES

Members are able to upgrade the status of their membership on a game by game basis. Simply visit one of the service offices on game day with the membership card that is not being used by the original card holder. Pricing for the upgrades are as follows:

Junior to Concession $12
Concession to Adult $12
Junior to Adult $24

LEASE YOUR SEAT – FOR MEMBERS WITH A RESERVED SEAT

By leasing your seat when you’re unable to attend matches you can gain valuable reward credits towards your membership for next season. FIND OUT MORE.

 
MEMBERS RESERVE DRESS REGULATIONS

Please be aware that the SCG Trust imposes strict dress regulations on members and guests entering into the SCG Members ' Reserve. The SCG Trust reserves the right to refuse entry into the SCG Members ' Reserve if these regulations are not adhered to.

Males
Neat, smart casual attire at all times.
No revealing, unclean or untidy clothing or footwear is permitted.

Acceptable:

  • A collared shirt must be worn at all times, irrespective of whether or not a jacket or collared sweater is worn over the shirt. The only exception is where a turtleneck sweater is worn underneath a jacket
  • Dress shorts or trousers
  • Fully enclosed shoes, including sneakers are permitted provided they are clean and in good condition
Unacceptable:
  • Shirts without a collar, irrespective of whether or not a jacket or collared sweater is worn over the shirt
  • T-shirts
  • Open toe shoes (including leather slides), rubber thongs, crocs, Ugg boots or unclean footwear
  • Board shorts, Hawaiian style shorts or brief shorts (i.e. football or athletic shorts)
  • Tracksuit pants or work overalls

Females:

  • Dresses, skirts or dress slacks worn with modest blouse or top
  • Shorts, skirts and dresses should be of a respectable length
  • Dresses, blouses and t-shirts may be sleeveless
  • Dress or tailored shorts should be of a respectable length
  • Enclosed shoes, sandals or leather footwear
  • Sneakers are permitted provided they are clean and in good condition
Unacceptable clothing includes (but is not limited to):
  •  No brief or revealing tops including; strapless, halter neck or those that show bare midriff
  • Dresses, shorts or skirts which are mini length
  • Leggings or track pants
  • Ragged, tattered, unclean or torn clothing (even if ‘designer’ tears)
  • Rubber thongs, dilapidated shoes, gumboots, crocs, moccasins, Ugg boots or slippers

Competing club guernsey’s will be allowed as long as they are neat and tidy.

LOST MEMBERSHIP CARDS

If you lose your card on a match day prior to you entering the ground you need to visit a Swans Service Office. If a membership card has been lost or misplaced you will need to replace it. Replacement fees are $25 an adult and $15 for concession and juniors. Replacement fees will be waived if the card is stolen and a police report is made.

FREE MEMBER’S CAP, COOLER BAG and SWANS SQUAD PACK COLLECTIONS

If you have not yet collected your item/s at the first two home games, they will be available from Swans Service Office 1, located at the Sydney Football Stadium forecourt (next to The Stadium Store) on SCG game days.

 
SWANS MEMBERS BAR AND DINING FACILITIES

SCG

Full Club members and above are able to access the MA Noble Bar and Dining at the SCG on Sydney Swans match days. Please remember to access these facilities you must adhere to the Dress Regulations imposed by the SCG Trust.

If you sit in areas other than Members Reserve and you are a Full Club member or above you will need to present your membership card to the usher staff at either of the two cross over points to gain access.

Crossover points are located on the Brewongle Concourse next to the Ladies Stand and behind the Bradman Stand at Gate F/G.

ANZ Stadium
Members Only - Players' Bar @ ANZ Stadium   

New for 2008 - Sydney Swans members will now be able to access the North West Terrace Bar on Level 1 at ANZ Stadium. Access to the bar is via the stairs adjacent to Aisle 126 on the level 1 concourse. To gain access you will need to present your membership card to the usher staff. Catch up with friends prior to the match or join like minded Swans members for a half time analysis - all in this exclusive area which overlooks the playing field.

 
AFTER MATCH FUNCTIONS

In 2008 After Match functions will run after all SCG matches. For Sunday day games, these functions will be held at CLUB SWANS in the Level 3 Loft Function Space. Entry can be gained by presenting you Sydney Swans membership card.

The Sydney Swans offer Members a park and ride service from Kings Cross to the SCG for each SCG home game; park for $9.00 at the Kings Cross Ward Avenue Car Park and catch the free return shuttle bus from in front of the El Alamein Fountain direct to the SCG. The return bus leaves from Bus Stand C outside the SCG.

CLUB SWANS is a children friendly venue and is located at 28 Darlinghurst Road, Kings Cross, just a two minute walk from the Ward Avenue Car Park.

For Saturday night matches at the SCG After Match functions will be held in the MA Noble Dining room from the conclusion of the main game. Entry can be gained by presenting your membership medallion/keyring. These functions are open to Full Club members and above.
