The Sydney Swans could be bolstered by the return of up to three players for Sunday’s clash with Melbourne.

Ted Richards (concussion), Tom Papley (shin) and George Hewett (concussion) will all be available to take on the Demons at the SCG this weekend.

Richards spent three weeks on the sidelines following a concussion suffered against Hawthorn in Round 9.

“It was a good process for Ted to go through as he was obviously very thorough in the way he has treated this latest concussion,” General Manager of Football Tom Harley told the HCF injury update.

“He has been given the expert advice that his career isn’t in doubt, which is what a lot of people were saying.”

Hewett is available after recovering well from a concussion suffered in the Swans’ Round 12 win over Gold Coast.

Rising star nominee Tom Papley is also set to return to the playing field after missing the last month with shin soreness.

“Tom was one of the really good stories at the start of the year but has missed the last month with shin soreness,” Harley said.

“He is available now so we look forward to seeing Tom back out there in the red and white.”

Kurt Tippett (hamstring tendon), Harrison Marsh (hamstring) and Sam Reid (calf) are all set for stints on the sidelines after suffering injuries against the Giants.
