The Sydney Swans are getting comfy for a cause next month by supporting Cerebral Palsy Alliance’s #OnesiesForADay.

The CPA are encouraging everyone from schools, local businesses, employees and employers to wear a onesie on Friday, July 1, with the aim of raising valuable funds and awareness for people living with cerebral palsy.

The initiative is part of a campaign in which registered participants help fundraise, with money raised going towards crucial equipment and services to improve the quality of lives for people living with the disability.

Ben McGlynn is leading the charge at Sydney Swans and couldn't wait for July, rounding up some teammates and a bunch of onesies at the SCG recently to help promote the campaign.

Registered participants like McGlynn receive a fundraising kit including donation tin, receipt letters, posters and a badge.

McGlynn has been heavily involved in fundraising efforts for the CPA. The 30-year-old took part in Steptember last year, a month-long campaign in which the participant aims to take 10,000 steps a day in the hope of changing the lives of those dealing with cerebral palsy.
