The Swans-ACT supporter group will be celebrating their 10-year anniversary in Canberra on Sunday, 11 December with a special Christmas Luncheon.

Swans fans from the nation’s capital and surrounds are encouraged to come along to the celebrations, being held at Chisholm Community Centre.

With defender Jeremy Laidler, Chief Executive and Managing Director Andrew Ireland as well as Head of Sydney Swans Foundation Tony Morwood in attendance, the event will be a great opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past decade and find out what’s in store for an exciting 2017 season.

The event will hold extra significance for new number one ticket holder, Pat McLindin, who has been a driving force of the Swans-ACT and a key reason for their success.

The Swans-ACT can always be seen in the SCG grandstands – and sometimes when the team is on the road – with a bus driving the red and white faithful up the Hume Highway throughout the season.

"It's a huge part of my life," McLindin said at the Club Champion Dinner. "I don't know what I'd do without it."
