The Sydney Swans will venture to all corners of New South Wales in the pre-season with matches scheduled in Coffs Harbour, Western Sydney and Albury.

The AFL today announced details of the pre-season competition, which will be known as the JLT Community Series.

The first bounce of Sydney’s pre-season competition will take place on Sunday, February 19 when the Swans play North Melbourne at C.ex Coffs International Stadium.

A match against cross-town rivals GWS will follow on Friday, March 3 at Blacktown International Sportspark.

The final match of the JLT Community Series will see the Swans travel to Albury to play St Kilda under lights at Lavington Sports Ground on Sunday, March 12.

Sydney’s Chief Executive and Managing Director Andrew Ireland said the fixture is a win for Swans supporters in New South Wales.

“With matches scheduled in Coffs Harbour, Western Sydney and Albury, the 2017 pre-season fixture provides Swans fans with plenty of opportunities to catch the team in action ahead of the new season,” Ireland said.

“As a Club, we always enjoy the chance to get back into the community and to see our fans in regional NSW, and all parts of the country, who we don’t always get to visit during the rigours of the home-and-away season.

“It’s great for Coffs Harbour to host a pre-season match and we’re excited to be playing there, after the city hosted our past three pre-season camps. We then stay in Sydney for a week before travelling to southern NSW where we’ve got huge support, so it will be the perfect way to round out the competition.

“We’re really looking forward to getting back into the community and for the new footy season to get underway in February.”

Swans members with game access will receive free entry into all of the Club’s JLT Community Series matches.

Sydney’s membership and fan engagement teams will be on hand throughout the pre-season to answer any questions supporters have ahead of the new season.

All matches will be broadcast live on Fox Footy.
