Josh Kennedy breaks through the tackle of Brodie Grundy at the SCG.

It was a tough night at the office for the Swans on Friday night, falling to the Magpies by a solitary point in Lance Franklin’s 250th match.

While Sydney didn’t get the points, skipper Josh Kennedy was influential for the home side, picking up 32 possessions and a goal.

The midfield maestro was the only Swans player to receive any votes from John Longmire and Nathan Buckley, receiving four votes for his performance.

It was all black and white otherwise, with Taylor Adams (nine votes), Adam Treloar (seven), Alex Fasolo (five), Scott Pendlebury (two), Henry Schade (two) and Brayden Maynard (one) leading the way.

At the top of the leaderboard is Port Adelaide’s Ollie Wines on 24 votes, followed by Dustin Martin (23) and reigning Brownlow Medallist Patrick Dangerfield (19).
