The influence of Jake Lloyd across the half back line on Saturday afternoon has been recognised in the AFL’s Team of the Week.

Lloyd was named on a half back flank following a career high 35 disposals against St Kilda on Saturday afternoon.

The 23-year-old was joined in the team by midfielder Dan Hannebery who was back to his best against the Saints.

Hannebery finished the match with 30 disposals, 12 marks, eight tackles and two goals in the ultimate all round performance.

See below the reasons provided for their inclusion in the team:

Jake Lloyd (Sydney): Even as the Swans started the season slowly, the former rookie racked up the ball at will. He finished with 35 disposals and his hard running meant his teammates always had an option to kick to.

Dan Hannebery (Sydney): Memories of a slow start to the season for the star Swan will fade away quickly if he keeps producing performances like his 30-disposal effort against St Kilda. The two goals he slotted in the first quarter added extra punch to his game.
