The Sydney Swans hit the ground running upon their return from a short break, as preparations ramp up for Thursday night's clash against the Western Bulldogs.

The players took advantage of the weekend's break to get away and refresh ahead of what's hopefully a bigger and better second half of the season.

All were back on deck, including the likes of Kieren Jack and Sam Naismith, who've been on the comeback from respective injuries in recent weeks, in a bid to press their claims on a senior recall.

The Swans will train over the weekend then bank a final session on Tuesday before kicking off Round 12 right here at the SCG.
