Sydney Swans players will undergo a number of extensive review meetings ahead of going on their end of season break later this week.

The entire playing list will head off on their break on Thursday after their season finished with a loss to Geelong on Friday night.

Over the next two days players will attend meetings with coaches, medical and high performance staff to reflect on their 2017 season.

The first to fourth-year players will return for preseason training on November 20 with the remainder of the playing list to return on December 4.

Among those returning in November will be young guns Isaac Heeney, Callum Mills and Zak Jones.

Jarrad McVeigh recently announced he would play on again in 2018 and will be the oldest player on the training track as he enters his 16th season.

Following the completion of the current finals series the club will embark on the Free Agency period which commences on Friday October 6.

The AFL Trade Period then starts on Monday October 9 running through until Thursday October 19.
