As part of the AFL Players’ Association’s Players Care Program, the Sydney Swans playing group has donated $5000 to cancer charity, Redkite, and another $5000 to HeartKids Australia.

Ahead of last week’s Red Day clash with Fremantle, speedy Swan Harry Cunningham presented a $5000 cheque to Redkite CEO, Monique Keighery, and Red Day Ambassador, Adry Awan.

The Swans have been proud partners of Redkite for the past 18 years.

Redkite do an outstanding job in the community by providing essential services to kids and young people with cancer, and their families.

The annual Red Day clash was once again a huge success last week, with plenty of red wigs in the grandstand and people giving generously to Redkite on the night.

The playing group also donated $5000 to HeartKids Australia.
