As Sydney shivered through its coldest morning of the year Swans players joined in the chill taking part in a cryotherapy session.

As temperatures dropped to as low as 1.2 degrees throughout Sydney, Swans players were jumping into a chamber going as low as -130 degrees.

The method known as cryotherapy is being used to aid the players recovery in the lead up to Saturday’s clash against Gold Coast.

“It’s a new and improved technology that brings the blood to the core, filters out the toxins from the blood and oxygenates it from the blood and allows you to the best recovery possible,” Dominic Belhina ffom Cryo HQ South Pacific told SwansTV.
