A lively small forward/midfielder with plenty of courage, he found it difficult to hold his place in the Hawthorn line-up, mainly because of injuries, and was traded to the Swans at the end of last season. Played just three games in 2008 because of knee and quad complaints, but managed 16 last year. Can be used as a tagger or even in the last line of defence and his versatility should suit the Swans.
