In his second season, Rohan played the opening four games of 2011 before injuries curtailed his progress.

He missed the next 15 matches with knee and hamstring trouble, before returning late in the season and reminding everyone of his gifts.

Easily capable of running out of defence or taking a mark in the forward 50m, Rohan is one of the quickest players on the Swans’ list and a key to their future prospects.

Has targeted a spot on the wing this season.

Coaches' call:

2011 was… probably an average year overall because he had a few injury concerns and it was a bit of a stop-start season. He certainly showed when he played that he belongs at the level, it’s just a matter of getting his body right and being out there consistently.

His pre-season has been… really good, he’s done pretty much everything. He got a really good chunk of pre-season in, hardly missed a beat, but had a slight niggle in the last two weeks of pre-season is the only thing that’s upset him but apart from that he’s been really good.

In 2012 we want to see… given the pre-season he’s had and the form he’s shown we just hope he stays on the park and if he does that he’ll make big improvements I’m predicting.
