Wagga Wagga Supporter Group
The Sydney Swans Wagga Wagga Supporter Group are back again in season 2011, which kicked off with a Membership Drive and Merchandise sales day held at the Wagga Marketplace which turned out to be a highly successful day.
We also recently hosted Ryan O’Keefe and Lewis Jetta at a Supporters dinner at the Riverina Australian Rules club during the Swans Community Camps visit. There was a great turnout from supporters to welcome the boys to Wagga Wagga and a great night was had by all.
Upcoming events
Our annual trivia night held in conjunction with Carlton football club is will this year be held at RAFC on Friday May 13, 2011 starting at 7pm. Tables of eight are to be organised so bring along your family and friends for a great night out.
We will be hitting the road for a number of bus trips to Sydney Swans games this year and once again all are welcome.
Our bus trips this year will be to:
16/4/11 Swans V Geelong to Sydney overnight
28/5/11 Swans V Kangaroos day trip to Melb
25/6/11 Swans V Collingwood to Sydney overnight
1/7/11 to 4/7/11 to Adelaide
This will be an extremely worthwhile 4 day trip to Adelaide. The cost of the trip will be $470 per person, which includes accommodation and bus travel costs
21/8/11 Swans V St Kilda to Sydney overnight
Our Christmas party will again be held in early December. It is always an extremely enjoyable day so stay tuned for more updates closer to the date.
