WA Supporter Group
Our WA Swans supporter group has gone from strength to strength after starting in the mid nineties, but taking a few years to gain momentum.
We now have a hard working committee dedicated to making our WA Swans Club a strong, committed and passionate one, strong in numbers, committed to promote and support the Sydney Football Club and passionate in true Bloods spirit.
2010 saw a WA Swans website created, www.waswans.info Please go to this site for information on membership, events, competitions, game day viewing dates, interstate trips etc.
Events planned for 2011:
Family Picnic Day. Sunday 20th Feb. Vietnam Pavillion Kings Park. 12-2pm.
Melbourne v Sydney Swans. Sunday 27th March. M.C.G. A group of supporters have booked to leave Perth Friday 25th March and will attend a pre match function at the M.C.G.
West Coast v Sydney Swans. Saturday 9th April.
A pre and after match function will be held at Subiaco Club Rooms, Paterson Oval.
Gold Coast Suns v Sydney Swans. Saturday 9th July.
Supporters will attend a pre match function at the R.S.L. Club, Surfers Paradise, then travel to the game by bus. Go to website for more details.
Membership costs $20.00 for a single membership and $30.00 for a family. Membership application forms are available on our website.
Members receive a newsletter, "The Swan" that keeps them informed on a monthly basis.
All A.F.L. shops in Perth offer a 10% discount on purchases to all WA Swan members on showing of a WA Swan member card.
During the football season listen to Sydney Swans Radio Show on 91.3 Sports FM, 9.00- 9.30AM every Saturday morning.
