Sydney Swans members and fans have once again showed incredible support for the club, achieving a milestone of 55,369 members in season 2022.

Members have had plenty to cheer about this year and will continue to do so as the men's team gear up for a 16th finals appearance in the last 20 years and the women's team play a historic first season in the AFLW.

Included in the total membership figure for the first time this season are the club's AFLW members. The club has seen an incredible amount of support for the inaugural Sydney Swans women's team, having the most members in the AFLW since last year, well before playing their first game. With the team playing their first game on Saturday, the club still sit at the top of the member tally with 6454 members.

Sydney Swans Executive General Manager- Customer and Product, Natalie Fagg said that the club have once again been supported from all across the country and Swans members have been part of some historic moments for the football club in 2022.

"We have had a terrific show of support from members from all over Australia," Fagg said.

"We have played in WA, SA, TAS, VIC and NSW and enjoyed vocal, passionate support wherever we play.

"Our members have shared some extraordinary moments in season 2022 with Buddy's 1000th goal a major highlight, a sold-out SCG in Round 22 against Collingwood creating an incredible atmosphere and last weekend's memorable first AFLW game at North Sydney Oval.

"Membership will only get better in 2023 when we finally open the doors to Sydney Swans HQ at the Royal Hall of Industries which will provide members with an experience like never before."

Current Sydney Swans members and those interested in joining the club next season can join the 2023 Member Draft, and will be notified as soon as memberships go on sale for the season ahead.
