The Sydney Swans took part in the inaugural Exercise Your Moodwalk hosted by community partner the Black Dog Institute at Centennial Park on Saturday.

This year’s walk promoted the Black Dog Institute’s Exercise Your Mood campaign, which runs from May 4-12 and raises awareness of the benefits of physical activity for mental health.

More than 250 people took part in Saturday’s walk, more than $57,000 were raised and all participants received a Swans gift.

A partnership struck with the Black Dog Institute last month will see the Swans deliver free mental health training to high schools across Australia.

The first free webinar will take place on Tuesday, June 18 and schools can register HERE.
