The Sydney Swans understand the importance that everyone plays in making this world a mentally healthier place to live.

On World Mental Health Day, we are encouraging all of our friends, family, colleagues and partners to take ACTION for mental health with Black Dog Institute.

October 10 is World Mental Health Day and October is Mental Health Awareness Month and we are doing our part to spread the word.

That’s why this October, we are helping you to take ACTION. We are helping people to get active, get arty, get a check up, get streaming, get on a trial, get generous, get online, get mentally fit, get updated and get trained.

To find out how you can get involved head to the Black Dog Institute website here: https://blackdoginstitute.org.au/action

If you want to get active take the chance to join the Exercise Your Mood Walk this Saturday, October 12 from 5pm at Sydney Olympic Park.

Exercise Your Mood is Sydney’s only half marathon walk under the stars.

The research done by Black Dog Institute shows that just one hour of exercise a week helps in preventing depression.
