Sydney Swans midfielder Luke Parker has been nominated for the Round 6 Goal of the Year for his incredible mid-air volley during Saturday’s match against Carlton.
Parker managed to get his boot to the ball in a mid-air banana style kick from the ball up inside the forward 50.
The midfielder produced an audacious volleyed banana out of mid-air for the Coates Hire Goal of the Year competition in Round 6 against Mark LeCras and Jake Stringer.
