It is a new year and we have a bunch of new things to make sure you tick off in 2020! 

1. Get ready for the season
There are plenty of ways to make sure you are prepared for the 2020 season. First of all sync the 2020 fixture to your calendar on your device. Download the official club app from the app store or google play store to keep up to date on all the news wherever you are and also don’t forget you can access you mobile membership card within the app. 

2. Be more adventurous - visit a new Stadium
We are set to play at 10 different venues across the pre-season and home and away season so why not try out something new? Head along and support the team on the Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium or as they take on the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium in Round 8. Wherever it is we play the team loves the support of the red and white faithful so why not take an adventure this year and cheer on the team on the road.

3. Get healthy and try some new recipes
Sydney Swans chef Courtney Roulston has plenty of great ideas that you can try in the kitchen. While Courtney fuels the players on a daily basis we have provided a number of great recipes of hers that you can try. And also follow Courtney on Instagram - @courtneyroulston for plenty of great cooking tips.

4. Catch public transport to the SCG
In an exciting initiative for fans all return transport to the SCG will be included for Sydney Swans members and ticketholders in season 2020. Why not make the most of the light rail service available at our doorstep here at the SCG or catch a bus or train to Central station and complete the walk up the hill to take in all the atmosphere ahead of the game. 5. Invite a friend to the footy
Nominate a mate to join you at the footy in season 2020 and you’ll go into the draw to WIN a Volkswagen Golf 110TSI Comfortline 7-Speed DSG. Do you know someone who would look good in the red and white? Maybe they need a nudge to join you as a member and cheer on the team from the SCG in 2020. Click here to learn more.

6. Support causes that you care about
We are giving you plenty of ways to assist those most in need as the country continues to reach out to those devastated by the bushfire disaster across our country. There are a number of ways we are helping you lend a helping hand including setting up a collection point at the Royal Hall of Industries for Foodbank. The playing group have also set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for the affected areas. The Club along with the AFL and all 18 clubs from across the league have committed $2.5 million to the cause with funds to also be raised at a one-off State of Origin match on February 28 at Marvel Stadium.

7. Take a selfie at the SCG at one of our home games

8. Show you’re Proudly Sydney all year round 
Don’t forget to tag your best Swans photos on social media with #ProudlySydney to show who you are getting behind in 2020. We are all proud of our club and we want you to make sure you are letting everyone know that you are Proudly Sydney in 2020.

 9. Stay in touch with your Swans family
There are plenty of ways to stay in touch with fellow Swans fans and remain connected with the Club all year long. You can follow us on Facebook, Instagram, twitter, LinkedIn or Tik Tok to remain up to date with what is happening around the Club. Also make sure your details are up to date by logging into your Swans-e account to keep up to date with communications from the Club.

 10. Meet your favourite players before the season
Meet your favourite players before the season starts at our Sydney Fan Day. It is a great day to come and celebrate the start of the season with more details to be confirmed and communicated in the coming weeks.
