The Sydney Swans VFL team return home for their Round 3 match against Geelong at Lakeside Oval (Tramway Oval) at Moore Park on Saturday, May 1.

The side started their VFL season in Round 1 with a 26-point win over the GWS Giants but were defeated by the Gold Coast Suns last week in Round 2.

Their opposition, Geelong had a bye last week but started their season with a big win over North Melbourne in Round 1.

The Swans side will be boosted by the inclusion of Robbie Fox, who returns to footy after suffering a finger injury in February.  Fox joins 15 other Sydney Swans listed players to step out for the VFL side against the Cats.

Coach Jeremy Laidler said his side is looking forward to playing the Cats and getting back to playing 'the Swans brand of football.'

"We are really looking forward to the challenge and bouncing back from last week," Laidler said.

"Geelong is in really good form, they had a solid win against North Melbourne and have quality players all over the field. We were pleased with how we played in Round 1 so we will be looking at getting back to that."

The match kicks off at 2.35pm and will be broadcast live on Kayo Freebies.
