The Sydney Swans are back in the winners circle after claiming a 33-point victory over Collingwood in Round 5 of the VFL. 

The Magpies got on the board early, before the Swans found their spark in the second term booting 6 goals to take a 13-point lead into the main break.

Sam Naismith headlined the second half, with the 205cm ruckman making his long-awaited return from two knee reconstructions.

The 28-year old wasted no time getting stuck into the action, winning the first centre bounce and involving himself in the contest.

From there it was all Sydney in the final term, the Swans powering home to defeat the Magpies 12.14.86 to 8.5.53

Ryan Clarke was dominant across the ground, gathering a game high 40 disposals and also firing home three goals. Dylan Stephens also produced another solid performance with 37 disposals.

Joel Amartey was lethal up front booting three majors, while Naismith completed his return to competitive footy with 19 hit outs and 9 disposals.
