Exactly when Sydney defender Michael Talia resumes his senior career remains uncertain but he is nearing the end of a strong pre-season.

After starting with such promise, last year was a season to forget for the key defender. Talia started the season against Collingwood in Round 1, but suffered a serious foot injury and didn’t play again at any level. An off-field indiscretion mid-year saw the 23-year-old suspended by the Club. Will be keen to bounce back with a big pre-season to start the new year on the right note.
