Sydney Swans co-captain Callum Mills has one hand of the Carey Bunton Medal after Round 21 with the midfielder more than 11 votes clear on the leaderboard. 

With two rounds of the AFL season remaining before t he start the finals, and with a maximum of 20 AFL coaches votes available, only Mills and Adelaide’s Taylor Walker are possibilities to win the award.

Mills currently sits on 56 votes, ahead of Walker who has polled 45 votes this season.

Isaac Heeney claimed one vote in Round 21 and sits in 5th spot on the leaderboard with 27 votes.

Heeney also sits third on the ladder of the Mohr medal, equal with Walker. They are 12 goals behind Geelong’s Tom Hawkins who leads with 54 goals.
