The Sydney Swans VFL side has stormed home to clinch their second win of the VFL season, defeating second-placed Southport by six points at Fankhauser Reserve on Saturday afternoon.

Despite a scoreless second quarter, the Swans were able to come from 44 points down to hand the Sharks their second loss of the year.
Experienced Swan Jake Lloyd and youngster Jesse Dattoli were dominant, the former recording a game-high 38 disposals and the latter having 18 touches and kicking two goals to inspire the comeback from the red and white.
Southport started fast, kicking the first two goals of the game in wet conditions, before Jack Kluske got Sydney on the board at the 10-minute mark with his first of two goals for the day.
Lloyd proved a problem for the Sharks early, the veteran dominant across the half-back to finish the opening term with a team-high 11 disposals to help give Sydney a 10-point lead heading into the first break.
It was all Southport in the second term, with three quick goals in the first six minutes setting the tone for a dominant quarter.
Stand in captain Max Geddes battled hard in the absence of VFL skipper Nick Shipley, alongside Lloyd who finished the half with 19 disposals and Caiden Cleary, who had 16 touches and six tackles.
However, Sydney was left to lament its inaccuracy in front of goal and lack of forward line connection at half-time, the Sharks piling on seven unanswered goals to get out to a 31-point lead at the main change.
New draftee Riak Andrew got the Swans going in the third term with an incredible snap in his first game for the red and white.
A strong effort from Ollie Florent in the midfield and goals from Matt Lloyd and Corey Warner gave the Swans hope heading into the final change, having trimmed the margin to 22 points.
Dattoli came to life in the late stages of the third and the final quarter, kicking two phenomenal goals and getting his hands dirty in the midfield.
QBE Sydney Swans Academy athlete Max King showed plenty of promise in his first VFL appearance, finding plnety of the footy and recording a major.
Buller (2 goals), Warner (18 disposals) and Cleary (30 disposals and nine tackles) were influential as Sydney kicked the last eight goals of the game to secure the 12.20.92 to 12.14.86 victory.
Next up, Sydney will host Footscray at Tramway Oval on Friday, June 27 ahead of the AFL side's clash with the Western Bulldogs at the SCG on Friday night.
