Grundy polled nine votes from the coaches in Round 21 after he finished the game with a career-high 39 disposals, including 22 contested, to go with 13 clearances and 32 hitouts.
The Swans star has now picked up 64 votes from a possible 80 in his past eight games.
Dashing defender Nick Blakey also caught the eye of the coaches in the win over Essendon, polling nine votes for his 18 disposals during a blistering first half, ending with 28 for the game.
Midfielder Isaac Heeney (28, one goal) was lively and polled five votes for his efforts, while Justin McInerney (two votes) and Callum Mills (one vote) rounded out the vote getters for the Swans.
Every week, the two senior coaches for each game give votes on a 5-4-3-2-1 basis, meaning 10 votes is the maximum a player can get in each round.
