QBE Sydney Swans Academy product Kiara Beesley played her local footy for the Southern Power in the AFL Sydney competition. While she was also a national representative in acrobatic gymnastics, the young defender gravitated towards football and in 2022 impressed by setting multiple draft combine records including top five all-time across the 20m sprint, vertical and running jump. She made four appearances in the Swans’ first season and will be looking to develop her skills in 2023.
