The Sydney Swans are coached by former North Melbourne star full-forward, John Longmire. After serving a long apprenticeship under premiership coach Paul Roos, Longmire took the reigns at the Swans in 2011, guiding the club to a semi-final appearance in his first season as a senior coach, a premiership in just his second year, and a preliminary final with an injury-riddled team in 2013.
Longmire is joined in the coaches box each week by his assistants, consisting of Brett Kirk, John Blakey, Stuart Dew, Henry Playfair and Josh Francou.
