The Sydney Swans will host a double header at the SCG on Sunday afternoon, with an AFLW clash with Essendon from 12:30pm before an AFL clash with from 3:20pm AEST.

Please note Allianz Stadium will have a NRL double header on the day so the venue and Driver Avenue will have increased crowds.

Moore Park will be very busy on Sunday afternoon with thousands of people attending events during the day and evening as well as an NRL double header at Allianz Stadium. AFL fans are urged to catch public transport to avoid significant traffic delays expected in the afternoon. 

Fan are urged to use public transport to avoid traffic and high demand for parking which is expected to fill quickly. 

Transport  

• Travel on all modes of public transport is included in your ticket to the game, simply show your ticket or members card to transport staff when boarding services.
• Trains and metro services run regularly to the city where you can connect with frequent light rail services to Moore Park. Additional light rail services will run before and after the match. The Moore Park light rail stop is located a short walk across from the SCG.  Plenty of regular route buses also make stops along Anzac Parade and Oxford Street nearby.    
• Make a day of it and plan to arrive early – there's plenty of local venues to enjoy pre or post-game. 
• Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to avoid the queues for transport services before and after the match. See the Moore Park walking route map (pdf 677KB) to find your way. 

Driving 

• If you must drive, expect long traffic delays on roads approaching Moore Park as footy fans make their way into the precinct during the busy evening peak. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com. 
• Parking is available near the SCG at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park, grass car parks on Driver Avenue, and Sydney Boys & Girls High School car park off Cleveland Street. A flat rate event parking fee will apply.  
• Have a back-up plan in case car parks are full when you arrive. Car parks are expected to reach capacity early. Consider parking at a station near you and continuing your trip to Moore Park on public transport.

• Kippax Park (EP2) grass car park: Closed
• Showground Field (EP3) grass car park: Open from 12:20pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry on Driver Avenue via Lang Road.
• Sydney Boys High School and Sydney Girls High School: Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Cleveland Street. Use the Anzac Parade pedestrian bridge to get to and from the SCG.
• Moore Park Golf Course: flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Cleveland Street.

Road Closures

Changed traffic conditions   

• Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the stadium from 10:00am and will reopen once crowds have safely cleared the area.
• No through-traffic will be available on Driver Avenue, however access to EP2 Kippax car park will be maintained via Moore Park Road and access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas maintained from Lang Road. 

Clearways are strict no-parking zones for all vehicle types and apply even to local residents and Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies. If your vehicle is towed, you can search your vehicle registration at the Find My Car website to find its new location, or alternatively call 132 701 to speak to an operator.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks 

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours of free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip. Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services. 

Tickets to the 2026 Sydney Swans season home games at the Sydney Cricket Ground include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

Accessible tickets are available to purchase online from Ticketmaster for Sydney Swans home games. Choose from wheelchair accessible (no seat) and wheelchair accessible accompanying guest (with seat).

Under a broadcast agreement with Foxtel and the AFL, the only place to watch every Saturday men's premiership season game live is on Fox Footy, available on Foxtel and Kayo.

Sydney Swans fans wanting to catch Saturday games for the first nine weeks of the season on free-to-air can be streamed via 7mate and 7plus on a delayed basis.

For Saturday day matches the game will be held back by 120 minutes from first bounce for the local audience.  

For Saturday night matches, it will be held back by 90 minutes from bounce or 8:35pm local time (whichever is earlier).

• Brewongle lift: Enter the ground through Gate E. On the left as you come through Gate E enter through glass doors with a sign above ‘Brewongle Suites & Boxes, Churchill Boxes, Club SCG.’  
• Churchill lift: Enter the ground through Gate E. Turn right after the escalator. Clive Churchill lift is the first you see through glass doors. 
• Victor Trumper lift: Enter the ground through Gate E. Turn right after the escalator. The Victor Trumper lift is behind the Clive Churchill lift. 
• Bill O’Reilly lift: Enter the ground through Gate E and go straight ahead to the green wall. Follow the green wall toward bay 25. There will be an SCG staff member who can direct you through the tunnel to the O’Reilly stand. 
• MA Noble lift: Enter the ground through Gate A. Follow the path behind the members pavilion to the MA Noble Stand. Enter the atrium and the lifts are to the left of the stairs and escalators.

Sydney Swans are dedicated to providing a fun and safe Macca’s Kick 2 Kick experience. An announcement will be made on the day via the ground PA (during the match) if Kick 2 Kick will take place. 

No pre-paid parking is available for EP2 and EP3. Please purchase your parking pass at the parking gate when you arrive on the day.  We suggest you arrive early to avoid missing out on a parking spot. Remember that EP2 and EP3 are cashless so please come prepared.
