Sydney Swans forward Lance Franklin's fifth and final goal in Saturday's win over Port Adelaide is one of the round 13 nominations for the 2014 Goal of the Year.

With the game in the balance and the Swans leading by just seven point, Franklin leads out for a mark from a Nick Smith kick, and despite not taking the mark, he was able to run around two Port opponents and dob the goal from just on the 50-metre arc.

Franklin's goal is up against Adelaide's Eddie Betts and Melbourne's Dean Kent.
