General Overview - Rd 10 v Fremantle

The playing group got through a hard-fought win on the weekend and have pulled up quite well despite some general soreness and a hand injury to Alice Mitchell and knee soreness for Lisa Steane.

Alice suffered an injury to her hand during the game. She was able to complete the rest of the match, but will be sent for scans and specialist review this week to determine availability for the game on Saturday.

Lisa Steane – Knee

Lisa had some knee soreness following an awkward landing in the early stages of the game. She was able to complete the remainder of the match and will be assessed in the coming days for availability for this weekend.

Paris McCarthy – Knee

Paris had some residual soreness in her knee last week following the Collingwood match and as a result, was unavailable for the weekend's game against Freemantle. She has progressed well since and will be a test for availability this weekend.

Montana Beruldson – Quad

Montana has returned to running and is progressing well. She is on track for return to play in 3-4 weeks.  

Paige Sheppard – Concussion

Paige returned to full training at the end of last week as per AFL concussion guidelines. She will be available for selection this weekend.

Kiara Beesley – Knee

Kiara has successfully completed her return to full training and is expected to be available for selection this weekend.

Ally Morphett – Hand

Ally is continuing with her rehab program and going well. Will review with specialist in 3 weeks for return to training timelines.

Kate Reynolds – Foot

Is progressing through functional running progressions. Will be assessed for return to play timeline in the coming weeks.

Jenny Higgins – ACL

Progressing well with her gym-based rehab program.

Hayley Bullas and Maddy Collier

Hayley and Maddy are progressing well with their return to running program and have commenced individual skills.
