The Sydney Swans VFLW side are back in action this Sunday, when they head to Melbourne to face the Box Hill Hawks at Box Hill on Sunday, April 28.

The Round 6 rebel VFLW fixture will be the Swans fourth appearance of the competition, having secured dominant victories over the Bulldogs, Kangaroos and Casey Demons over the past three weeks.

AFLW Senior Coach Scott Gowans has made five changes for the clash, welcoming back experienced players Lisa Steane and Lauren Szigeti and young draftees Holly Cooper and Lara Hausegger.

Ruck Ally Morphett also makes her return for the first time since suffering an injury against the Hawks in Round 7 of the 2023 AFLW competition.

The five changes see Lexi Hamilton (suspended), Alana Woodward, Sofia Hurley, Laura Gardiner and Brooke Bailey omitted.

The Hawks enter the competition after five wins to start their season and currently sit first on the ladder after an undefeated start.
