Gary Rohan is in the frame to make his long-awaited return to senior football after being named in the Sydney Swans’ extended squad for Sunday afternoon’s clash against St Kilda at the SCG.

Jed Lamb and Harry Cunningham have also been named in the Swans’ squad for Sunday afternoon’s clash.

If selected, Rohan will play his first senior game since round four, 2012, when he fractured his tibia in the opening quarter of the Swans’ clash with North Melbourne also at the SCG.

The 22-year-old made his return to the field in the Swans reserves’ round 17 clash with UWS in mid-July, and has played four NEAFL games to date.

Lamb has been recalled after playing 10 senior games already in 2013, while Cunningham is in line to play his third game this year after featuring in rounds 17 and 18.

The final 22 for Sunday afternoon’s game will be announced on sydneyswans.com.au at 5:00pm on Friday, August 15.
