The deal will see Dew take on the new role of strategy and midfield coach.
Swans coach Longmire said he was pleased to have Dew re-commit to the club.
“Stu has been a valuable member of our coaching team since 2010 and is someone we rate really highly,” he said.
“We understand that there were other club’s interested in Stu, but to have him recommit to the club is a strong show of faith in the Swans football program.
"We're glad Stuey has confidence that the Swans will continue to assist his development as a coach."
Dew joined the Swans in 2010 as a development coach, and in 2011 was appointed as an assistant to senior coach John Longmire.
