Jesse White's manager Ben Williams is hopeful that the big Swan will be traded to Collingwood by the end of the week.

Williams told SEN he would be "very surprised" if White didn't end up at the Westpac Centre, adding that his client was "pretty committed" to joining the Magpies.

But Williams accepts that sealing the White deal mightn't be the Pies' top priority as they negotiate a trade with GWS for Heath Shaw, and perhaps luring Giants youngster Taylor Adams and Brisbane Lion Patrick Karnezis.

The Swans are supportive of White's wish to continue his career at Collingwood, Williams said, given the Swans' abundance of forward targets.

Williams indicated on Gillette AFL Trade Radio yesterday that the Swans and Collingwood were “talking about a back-end second to early third round pick".
