The Swans will play a practice match against Brisbane in Burpengary
The Sydney Swans will round out their 2014 pre-season campaign with a practice match against the Brisbane Lions in the Moreton Bay suburb of Burpengary, 35 kilometres north of Brisbane.
The match will be played at the $13 million Burpengary Regional Sports Park on Saturday March 8, at 2.30pm, a week out from the Swans opening match of the 2014 season against GWS at the Sydney Showgrounds.
The practice match against the Lions will be the first of three trips the club will make to Queensland in 2014, with regular season matches against the Lions (Saturday May 3 at The Gabba) and Gold Coast (Sunday June 8 at Metricon Stadium) already announced.
