Sydney Swans star Adam Goodes is free to face the Gold Coast Suns on Sunday after being cleared by the AFL's Match Review Panel following contact with Geelong's Joel Selwood last Thursday night.
The high bump that Goodes landed on Geelong skipper Joel Selwood at the SCG on Thursday night attracted the MRP's attention.
Goodes had both feet off the ground and collected Selwood in the head but the panel found that "Goodes jumps in an attempt to contest the ball and braces for contact.
"Contact is made. It was the view of the panel the contact made was below that required to constitute a reportable offence."

The ball is loose following a boundary throw in and has bounced high in the air.
Both players have their eyes on the ball, Selwood taps the ball forward and Goodes jumps in an attempt to contest the ball and braces for contact.
Contact is made.
