The Sydney Swans will be looking to get their season off to a winning start when they take on Essendon at ANZ Stadium on Saturday afternoon to begin their 2015 campaign.

Footy Records

Footy Records will not be available for sale external to the venue.

You will be able to purchase your copy of the Footy Record once inside ANZ Stadium from Footy Record Vendors who will be located near to all gates.

Sydney Swans Service Office Location

Our full time Member Services staff are located in the Service Office to help you out with any problem that may arise on match day. This includes forgetting your membership cards!

The Sydney Swans Service Office is located external to the venue next to Gate A/B on the eastern side of the stadium (train station side).

The service offices will open at 1:55pm and close at the end of the first quarter break.

Member redemptions will not be available from the Service Office at ANZ Stadium.  Redemption points will be located at four points outside the stadium.

Sydney Swans Member Redemptions

Sydney Swans Member Redemptions will be available from 2.00pm through to the start of the match at the below locations on Saturday afternoon. 

Redemptions will only be available prior to the match. 

All redemption points are located outside the venue.

  • Eastern side of ANZ Stadium (train station side)
    • Two redemption marquees will be available for handouts
    • Outside Gate G
    • Opposite Gate K
Volkswagen Fan Zone

Be sure to arrive early for Saturday’s match and head to the Volkswagen Fan Zone outside ANZ Stadium on the eastern concourse (train station side of ANZ Stadium). 

Visit the Volkswagen Fan Zone to test your skills with the Volkswagen Handball Challenge where you can handball through a moving tyre into a boot of a Volkswagen and find out how accurate your kick is at the Volkswagen  Kicking Challenge.

The fans favourite, Volkswagen Club Song Car returns giving you the chance to jump in the back seat of a Volkswagen Golf Wagon to record your version of Cheer Cheer – remember to keep an eye out on the big screen at half time to see if your rendition made the cut!

Make sure you visit www.vwfanzone.com.au following the game to share your Volkswagen Club Song Car video online with your friends and family and see if your handball score has made it onto the leader board.

Face Painting

This year the Volkswagen Face Painters are back and ready to get you in the red and white spirit. You can find the three free face painting stations in the following locations from 2.55pm to 5.30pm:

  • Outside the stadium in the Volkswagen Fan Zone
  • Inside the stadium near Aisle 114
  • Inside the stadium near Aisle 126

Sydney Swans Fan Zone
The Fan Engagement Marquee will be operating at each home game this year. If you are new to the game or the Club and have any questions please see the Fan Development Team who will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

The Fan Engagement Marquees will be open from the opening of gates and can be found at the below locations:

  • Inside the stadium near Aisle 126 – open from 2:55pm until the end of half time
  • Inside Gate L – open from 2:55pm to the start of the match

Arrive early to test your skills on the Jump Bump Thump and Big Kick! The inflatable will be located in the North West out building near Aisle 126 and will operate from gates through to the end of half time.

Sydney Swans Members Bar

The Sydney Swans members bar will be open from 2.55pm through to one hour post-match.  The bar is open to all Sydney Swans members and is located adjacent to aisle 126 on the level 1 concourse

Swans TV
Arrive at the venue early and catch up on that latest news about Swans players and the Club, with Swans TV hosted by Kurt Hanson.

See yourself on the big screen shaking your tail feather on Cyggy’s Dance Cam or be in the chance to win $1000 thanks to Citibank! Keep your eye on the big screen at half time!

Getting there and away

Sydney Olympic Park is the place to be this Easter long weekend.

All tickets to the Easter Saturday clash between the Swans and Essendon at ANZ Stadium include entry and return travel on CityRail trains, Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Bus Services, regular Sydney Buses (STA), Sydney Ferries services and Light Rail services.

With the Royal Easter Show in full swing next door, all fans who have not pre-booked parking should not drive.  With the match coinciding with one of the Royal Easter Show’s busiest day, footy fans are urged to leave the car at home and take advantage of the additional public transport services put on for the Easter Show and included in the event ticket.

Fans should also plan their journey and travel early to ensure they are in their seats before the match gets underway.

TRAINS

The closest train station to ANZ Stadium is Olympic Park Station.

Additional and direct Sydney Trains will be in operation to coincide with the Royal Easter Show:

  • Trains depart Central every seven (7) to eight (8) minutes between 08:30am and midnight, stopping at Redfern, Strathfield and Olympic Park.
  • Lidcombe sprint services to Olympic Park will operate every 10 (ten) minutes from 05:30am, extending to Penrith / Emu Plains from 09:00 until 01:00am. 
  • Two (2) trains per hour will operate between Olympic Park and Schofields from 09:00am until 11:00pm.

BUSES

Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Bus services will be running every twenty (20) to thirty (30) minutes to coincide with the Royal Easter Show.

Major Event Buses start running between 07:00am and 07:30am depending on the route and arrive from 08:30am until 5:00pm.

The last bus on each route departs Sydney Olympic Park at 11:00pm.

Sydney Buses will operate to a public holiday timetable.

Route 525 operates between Parramatta and Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park.

Fans who have not pre-booked parking should not drive and are advised to take advantage of the extra direct train and bus services put on for the Easter Show which are also included in the event ticket for the Easter Saturday clash.
