The Sydney Swans have made one change to its side to take on Greater Western Sydney at the SCG on Saturday afternoon.

Harry Cunningham comes back into the side to take on the Giants with veteran Adam Goodes set to play in the NEAFL after being omitted.

Coach John Longmire welcomed Cunningham’s return to the senior side after being named emergency last weekend.

“Harry is a player with genuine speed and can play a number of different roles so he is really flexible in the way he goes about it,” Longmire said.

“He played a lot of football for us last season and has had a good pre-season so he gets his opportunity again this week.

“It was a bit hard on him last week but we play a team that is extremely quick and hard so we need to make sure Harry comes into the team and adds to that.”

Ben McGlynn, George Hewett and Sam Naismith have been named as the three emergencies for the game.
