Our fantasy football expert @CalvinDT recaps how the Swans players fared during Round 4 of AFL Fantasy.

Jarrad McVeigh (MID, $556,000) lead all scorers last week with 118, backing up his 111 from round three. Sam Reid (FWD, $295,000) pulled down a game high 11 marks and Jake Lloyd (FWD/MID, $378,000) scored his third 100+ score for his career with 102 to average 89 over the last three rounds.

Luke Parker (MID, $523,000) only managed 82 and finds his value sliding every week. He dropped another $28,000 last week and carries a break-even of 125. Parker is a Fantasy jet, so don’t trade him out just yet. The Swans play the Bulldogs this week, a team he scored 128 against last time they met which happened to be his second best Fantasy score ever. He’ll be back!

ON THE RADAR

Last year, Ben McGlynn (MID, $529,000) averaged 102. He has only played two games this year and will find his feet in no time. He has dropped $52,000 from his starting price and has some of his favourite teams coming up in the next three weeks. He didn’t play the Bulldogs in 2014 but in round six he’ll meet the Demons who he had 105 on last year. In round seven he plays the Cats who he dominated for 133, followed by Hawthorn where he had 130.  He’s certainly one to keep an eye on over the next few weeks.

TOP 5 SCORERS

#1 – 118 Jarrad McVeigh (MID, $556,000)
#2 – 105 Sam Reid (FWD, $295,000)
#3 – 102 Dan Hannebery (MID, $541,000)
#4 – 102 Jake Lloyd (FWD/MID, $378,000)
#5 – 93 Josh Kennedy (MID, $551,000)

WHAT’S COMING UP

Lance Franklin (FWD, $526,000) is at home on the SCG. He has averaged 126 there in his last 5 games, compared to the 85 he averages when he plays away from home over the last two years. He scored 109 against the Bulldogs last year and although I seem to say it every week… he’ll smash them and kick a bag of 8+ goals.

All the best for round five!
