The Sydney Swans have made just one change ahead of Saturday night’s encounter with Hawthorn at the MCG.

After a two-week stint in the NEAFL, Harry Cunningham returns to the senior side for the highly anticipated clash.

The 21-year-old utility, who has averaged 24 disposals at the lower level, replaces Dean Towers in the side which is coming off back-to-back wins.

Senior coach John Longmire, speaking to SwansTV for this week’s Centrum Team Selection, believed Cunningham’s run, speed and versatility will be a valuable asset during the team’s second trip to Melbourne.

“We know that he can play a number of different roles for us so we’re looking forward to hopefully seeing Harry back at his best,” Longmire said.

“He’s extremely quick and flexible given he can play forward, through the midfield or in defence – all attributes that are really important on the MCG.”

Cunningham has managed four games in 2015, donning the green vest against the Western Bulldogs, and averages 13 touches and three tackles a game.
