LAST WEEK’S NEWS

With a nice 10 point win under our belt from last Thursday night, the Swans are about to fire up heading into the last half of the season.

Josh Kennedy (MID, $531,000) lead all scorers with a massive 151 from 33 touches and eight tackles. His score ranked him as the second best over the round, just behind Scott Pendlebury’s 152.

Ranking at number three for the week was Dan Hannebery (MID, $602,000) with 146. He has now averaged 120 in his last five games this year and is proving to be one of the best picks of 2015.

Tom Mitchell (FWD/MID, $526,000) shook of the vest from last week to score another solid 105 and the ‘on the radar’ player from last week, Dane Rampe (DEF, 409,000) let me down a little with just 65.

Toby Nankervis (RUC, $134,000) played his first game for 53pts and also slotted a nice goal.

ON THE RADAR

Josh Kennedy is currently ranked as the fifth most in form player in the league over the last three weeks. He is carrying a break even of only 60 and is $64,000 under his starting price. What I’m basically saying here is… Now is the time to pick him up. He averaged 105 last year and after a few poor scores, he has finally starting to hit his straps.

TOP 5 SCORERS

#1 – 151 Josh Kennedy (MID, $531,000)
#2 – 146 Dan Hannebery (MID, $602,000)
#3 – 121 Kieren Jack (MID, $522,000)
#4 – 112 Luke Parker (MID, $571,000)
#5 – 110 Jake Lloyd (FWD/MID, $392,000)

WHAT’S COMING UP

This week the Swans take on the Brisbane Lion at the GABBA. Last time they met, Jarrad McVeigh (DEF/MID, $509,000) topped scored with 122 and will need to bounce back after his worst score for the year last week (55pts). Hannebery also scored 120 against them last year to be one of eight players to crack the magical ton.

All the best for round 15!
