LAST WEEK’S NEWS

Lewis Jetta (FWD/MID, $401,000) led the way in Fantasy for the Swans this week with 102pts and was joined by Rhyce Shaw (DEF, $350,000) to be the only players to crack triple figures.

Josh Kennedy (MID, $588,000) had another 30+ possession game but only managed 95 due to 21 of his touches being handballs. In Fantasy, kicks are worth 3pts and handballs only 2pts. So, now you know that Josh, you know what to do.

Dan Hannebery (MID, $591,000) had another lean week with only 86pts and that’s after just 90pts the week before. Jarrad McVeigh (DEF/MID, $474,000) struggled to really trouble the scorers with his 66pts but it was the surprise ‘vesting’ of Tom Mitchell (FWD/MID, $471,000) that really got the Fantasy world buzzing. Mitchell came on with a point to prove though and knocked out 41pts in just in 26 minutes of game time.

ON THE RADAR

Brandon Jack (FWD, $232,000) has only played three games this year and is now starting to make the most of his opportunities. He has now scored 82 and 73 over the last two weeks and is starting to cement himself in the Swans’ best 22.

He is only owned by 1% of fantasy coaches and is still a cheap forward bench option for your team. He went up $29,000 in price this week and will continue to rise over the coming weeks due to a very low break even.

TOP 5 SCORERS

#1 – 102 Lewis Jetta (FWD/MID, $401,000)
#2 – 100 Rhyce Shaw (DEF, $350,000)
#3 – 95 Josh P. Kennedy (MID, $588,000)
#4 – 90 Sam Reid (FWD, $345,000)
#5 – 87 Luke Parker (MID, $536,000)

WHAT’S COMING UP

This week the Swans play the Crows in a Saturday twilight game at the SCG.

The Swans will need to restrict Patrick Dangerfield who has been on fire, averaging 123 in his last three games which ranks him as the fourth best in the league.

Last time they met, Luke Parker (121pts) and Buddy Franklin (113pts) kicked eight goals between them. So lets hope that Buddy is back this week after being an unexpected late withdrawal last weekend.

All the best for round 18!
