Sydney Swans forward Ben McGlynn has been cleared of contact with Patrick Dangerfield during the third quarter of Saturday's win over Adelaide.

The match review panel deemed Dangerfield was running to make position to receive a handball when McGlynn bumped him to the chest area.

A free kick was paid at the time to the Adelaide player for the contact.

It was the view of the panel the matter was dealt with at the time on field and there was not sufficient force to warrant a report.

McGlynn is free to play against Geelong at Simmonds Stadium this weekend.
