GRAND FINAL WEEK

This week is the final week of AFL Fantasy, and for some super Fantasy coaches out there, it’s Grand Final time.

So, you’ve taken a walk through the streets of Melbourne and are bracing yourself for the huge weekend ahead. However, the main question coming through this week, is what to do with the injured Dane Swan (FWD/MID, $613,000) who is owned by over 90,000 coaches.

Here are my top options, who are set to be huge this weekend.

Tom Rockliff (MID, $623,000) is the easiest option for this week after he is coming off scores of 159, 140 and 143 in his last three games. He averages 118 against the Bulldogs in his last three and loves playing at the GABBA where he averaged 142 last year. Now is the time to get him in if you don’t already own him.

Dan Hannebery (MID, $580,000) plays the Suns this week, a team he scored 133 against this year. Tom Mitchell (FWD/MID, $529,000) is clearly the best forward option for Swan, especially after he has scored 142 and 138 in his last two games and even posted 131 on the Suns earlier this year.

SYDNEY’S 2015 FANTASY M.V.P

Dan Hannebery (MID, $580,000) has averaged 110 this year, 13pts better than any other Fantasy season in his seven year career. He has averaged 129 at the SCG this year and hasn’t put a foot wring for his coaches.

RUNNER-UP M.V.P

Josh Kennedy (MID, $587,000) is currently averaging 107 a round, but has coming home like a freight train, averaging 118 in his last 10 games.

FANTASY ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Isaac Heeney (FWD/MID, $328,000) only managed 11 games this year but has shown why he will be a star of the future. He scored 119 last week and will only get better and better.

2016 WATCH LIST

Tom Mitchell is currently averaging 103. If we take away the two games he was vested this year, he would be averaging 112. He’ll be one of the most selected players next year and is showing why with an average of 123 in his last three this year. Lance Franklin has averaged 102 in the past, but is only sitting on an average of 82 this year. He’ll be cheap next year based on what he can do.

WHAT’S COMING UP

This week the Swans play the Suns at the SCG. Last time they meet was in round 10 and that day, Dan Hannebery (133) and Tom Mitchell (131) went bananas. Both are not only good replacements for Swan but also great captain options heading into this week’s Grand Final.
