The rain just kept on falling, and falling, and falling.

There was no respite for the entire playing list during the Swans’ second training run of 2016.

The squad was put through its usual paces at UNSW’s David Phillips Field on Wednesday, with a majority switching between running and skill work while the rehab group kept relatively dry either boxing or turning the legs on the bike machine.

For those facing the elements, a heavy ball and sodden shoes plus the pelting rain provided plenty of obstacles as they focused on clean disposal by hand and foot.
