Bulgarian tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova dropped by a Sydney Swans training session last month during while contesting the Sydney International.

Tsvetana had never seen a game of Aussie Rules football and with the help of Brandon Jack and the Sydney Swans was shown the basics of our great game including kicking, handballing and kicking a goal.

After a few goes, the World No. 78 felt right at home.

So used to running around a tennis court on her own, the 28-year-old loved the team-oriented feel of the foreign sport.

"It's interesting for me, because in tennis we're always alone," she said.

"Here it looks really fun to have a team that you can rely on."
