The Sydney Swans will travel to Coffs Harbour on Tuesday to commence a four-day pre-season training camp.

It will be the fourth straight year the Swans have used the facilities at C.ex Coffs International Stadium and Novotel Pacific Bay Resort to fine-tune preparations for the upcoming AFL season.

Swans co-captain Kieren Jack said the camp will once again form an important part of the club’s pre-season.

"The training that we do up in Coffs Harbour is very much looking forward to matches so there's lots of match practice up there," the 28-year-old told the Coffs Coast Advocate.

"We're very fortunate that we get to head up north to a place that looks after us very well and the boys really enjoy the hospitality that we get there.

"When we train at the ground that's there, there's always a good supporter base as well so it's exciting for the town and exciting for us as well.”

Swans supporters are encouraged to come and see the team in action at a number of community events planned during the week.

On Wednesday and Friday morning from 8:30am to 11am, the Swans will hold two open training session at C.ex Coffs International Stadium.

Youngsters will get a chance to meet their favourite players and have a kick of the footy at the kids clinic on Wednesday afternoon at the main stadium from 3.45pm.

Players will also make the most of the opportunity to visit school students in the classroom, run a training session for the QBE Sydney Swans Academy and enjoy some down time playing golf at the picturesque Bonville Golf Club and go-karting.

The Swans community team will be on hand throughout the week to answer any questions fans and members may have about the upcoming AFL season.
