Warm but humid conditions made for a sweaty first session as the Sydney Swans kicked off this week's pre-season camp in Coffs Harbour on Wednesday morning.

A number of fans took refuge in what shade the C.ex International Stadium's grandstand could offer as the 2016 playing list took to the manicured turf to continue their preparations for the upcoming season.

There was a mix of stretching exercises, short sprints and boxing before the main group split into smaller positional lines with their respective coaches.

The squad then came together again for a number of full-ground game intensity drills which really tested the guys' focus and fitness as the footballs became slippery and difficult to handle as the session wore on.

Injured duo Jarrad McVeigh and Ben McGlynn ran laps for most of the session while Alex Johnson worked over a group including Zak Jones, Jordan Foote and Nick Smith with the boxing gloves.

Kurt Tippett, Callum Sinclair and Tom Derickx worked together in a ruck drill while the likes of Luke Parker, Kieren Jack and Dan Hannebery were notable voices when the coaches took full advantage of the sizable and familiar C.ex International Stadium oval.

The Swans continued their day one of the Coffs Harbour pre-season camp with a number of local school visits and a super clinic staged at the C.ex International Stadium.
