Kick-to-kick is back for another season.

Everybody's favourite venue, the SCG, will again throw open its gates to give fans the exclusive opportunity to step onto the field for the popular post-match activity.

Fans will be given access to the ground in seven of the Swans' 11 home matches.

For our interstate fans, the Swans will be involved in a further six games where the gates will be left open after the final siren.

"There is no doubt our fans love the tradition of having a kick on the ground after the final siren," AFL general manager of clubs and operations Travis Auld said.

"With close to half the matches during the home-and-away season including this opportunity, it shows that the AFL and our stadium partners are committed to continuing this tradition.

"We appreciate our partners accommodating this initiative while also balancing the need to prepare their grounds to such high standards.”

Unlike at the MCG and Etihad Stadium, where there is difficulty maintaining surfaces during winter, kick-to-kick will still be available after games during June and July.

All kick to kick is subject to weather.
